We always want things to be different. We don’t know why… we just do. So, we strive to improve things – even ourselves – when we are unsatisfied with how things are. But then what? Most times, we are still unsatisfied, because the underlying cause of our problems isn’t the things around us, but it’s our expectation of things.
“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles, and less than perfect conditions. So what? Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident, and more and more successful.” ~ Mark Victor Hansen
When I was a kid, boys my age loved to brag on their dads. It was a daily thing on the playground. In those competitive conversations, every boy claimed his dad’s rightful place on the throne as “The World’s Toughest Dad.” I can still hear them saying, “My dad is bigger than your dad!” or “My dad is smarter than your dad!” But the best one of all was, “My dad is stronger than your dad!” But the last one I mentioned, was only used in threatening situations… when a fight was about to break out. It was a clear scare tactic. And, it was a fair warning that, “If you mess with me… you’d better beware, because my dad will come and deal with everybody out here… and handle everyone’s dad, later.” Of course it never happened! But, all the little fellas had confidence in what they were saying.Continue reading GOD Can Turn Bad Situations into Something Good…
P.U.S.H.! PRAY UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS. Prayer is a powerful weapon that will cause things to change, if you go about it with faith.
You can make it this time. GO back and try again! Don’t give up. Don’t throw in the towel just yet. FIGHT for what you want… but this time, do it with FAITH. It can happen.
How many times are you and I guilty of “praying on the fly” – asking GOD what to do while we’re in the process of doing it? It’s awfully hard to hear GOD’s voice when we’re in a rush of activity, especially incorrect activity. Even worse, most of us act first and pray later – when we’ve really gotten ourselves into a jam. Then we start shouting “rescue me,” never acknowledging that a little patience and seeking God’s will would have prevented us from getting into the mess in the first place!
So much about life can be hard to comprehend. Sometimes you struggle to find answers, and even lose sleep praying… but still it seems like GOD is so far away.
If you’re like me… you’ve prayed a prayer similar to this:
“GOD I know YOU see my struggle. I know that in the big picture of the world, my problems are small problems – but that doesn’t make my pain any less – and it doesn’t stop the hurt from echoing deep inside me. YOU said, “Never will I leave nor forsake you”… but GOD really, YOU seem so far away.
I’ve believed YOU for everyone else, and I’ve seen how YOU answer their prayers, but what about me? I do my best to follow the rules… yet still nothing happens. Do you see me?
There are times when I clearly see you at work in my life. I’ve seen you open doors I never knew existed… and plant dreams I didn’t know I had. But “something” scares me about this situation… and I need you now, more than ever before.”
GOD fights for YOU! Actually, GOD fights every battle for those of us who trusts HIM by faith. Therefore, on the Christian journey, you don’t need physical weapons… it’s all spiritual. So it’s necessary to have the required spirituals weapons in order to advance against the enemy.
Stretch out on faith today. Run your race. Fight the good fight. YOU CAN MAKE IT… and you will make it! Just KEEP YOUR EYES ON GOD. Not your problems. Not your fears. And, not your worries. The battle is not yours… it belongs to GOD. So, seek GOD’s plan for you… and trust it.
PLAN A: TRUST GOD fully.
PLAN B: refer to Plan A.
“When you’re new to the Christian way of life, it’s easy to quickly lose your footing.” The enemy will use the things you love most to try to tempt you… in his effort to discourage you against living for GOD. Because of that, sometimes it can be easy to be overcome with bouts of fear and confusion. It can cause you to wonder to yourself, whether you can live a successful life as a Christian, or not.
The answer to that question is… YES. You can make it, and you will make it – as long as you keep your eyes on GOD.
Don’t let the distractions of what’s going on around you, discourage what’s inside you. Stay focused. Work on YOU… from the inside out – and GOD will handle the rest. GOD created you, solely, for you to allow HIM to show you how GREAT and MIGHTY HE is… when you trust HIM by faith.
Sharpen your spiritual tools. Make it a priority each day to:
Strengthen your FAITH
Strengthen your PRAYER LIFE
Strengthen your LOVE FOR GOD’s WORD
Strengthen your HOPE IN GOD’s PROMISES
Strengthen your JOY IN THE LORD
You’re going to WIN! There’s no doubt about it. Be happy! If you’re standing on the promises of GOD… nothing that comes against you, will defeat you. Be Strong! Hold on. Encourage yourself. When you’re faced with problems or trials… don’t give in to fear, give it to GOD.
Someone today is going to stop worrying about everything, and TRUST GOD in all things… Why Not YOU? Make the choice! There’s no better day than today. Stand still… and see the salvation of the LORD.

“We’re each given one life, and it’s our job to make it useful, beautiful, and fulfilling. There is no value in suffering through it, doing something we hate. There’s no prize at the end for that kind of endurance. Just a spent life.” ― Sarah Jio

Times have changed. The things we do now in our modern world… would have been impossible to do a few decades ago. But all good things invented or otherwise, begin with a thought – and with good leadership. Leadership itself begins with one basic principal. And that is – confidence and the will power to succeed against any circumstance. Today more people understand… and live by the biblical principal that, “All things are possible.” In fact, that has to be the mindset of any person who is striving to be a great leader.
Leaders are quality people. They have to possess so many incredible attributes to do what they do well. They have to be patient and assertive, flexible and forthright… while at the same time, be stern – yet friendly and motivational. Their ability to motivate people towards excellence can hardly be matched… when everything is working on all cylinders. Bottom line, good leaders do these 7 things well: Continue reading If You Do These 7 Things, You’re A Great Leader
Here’s a fact: YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING! And, life could be so much better if you were bold enough to lay all doubts aside, learn to lean on GOD by faith… and learn to aim higher. When you’re aiming to go higher in GOD… higher in faith… or higher in life, setting goals is one thing, but having faith they can be achieved is another. But you must choose Faith, above all things, so your eyes can be opened to all of the wonderful things that are possible in life – if you’d just believe.
Muhammad Ali said, “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given… than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It’s an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”Continue reading Impossible Is Nothing… When You Have Faith
Hold your head up! You don’t have to sit alone like the bullied kid on the playground. Be confident… and trust GOD to protect you. When it seems like the whole world is against you… and you’re in a dark place, you can feel bullied by your troubles. But Faith is a living, daring confidence in God’s grace that’s so sure and certain…that you can stake your life on it – a million times over. Give GOD time… He won’t disappoint you.
