Don’t Let How You Feel… Make You Forget What You’re Worth

You can make broken look beautiful… and make strong look invincible. You can walk with the world on your shoulders, and make it look like you are walking with a pair of wings. That’s what walking by faith looks like. It is then that nothing can defeat you, and nothing can get the best of you. Yet it can only happen if you trust GOD.

Sometimes, it will seem like with all of the possibilities life has to offer, you just don’t measure up, and it might make you feel useless. Then, those thoughts might get you to thinking about your dreams, all you want to be, all you want to do, and where you want to go, but you for whatever reason, just don’t how to get there. Somehow, these thoughts might make you feel a sense of brokenness.

Hold your head up. Listen up! Remember, broken crayons still color! Therefore, even in the midst of tears and heartache and brokenness, you have to be able to find your strength. First, though, you have to be able to allow yourself to heal.

The struggle you are in today is developing the strength you need to face tomorrow. Have faith in the fact that you are “Fearfully and wonderfully made.” You are not made to stay broken. You are not made to stay down. Moreover, you were not created to be defeated.

Your greatest strength lies deep inside you. Look within. Dig into your power! GOD is there… and HE is waiting to be called upon to supply your needs, and fix everything has caused you to feel broken. Allow it to happen.

When you focus your thoughts on GOD, everything about you can be brighter and more joyful. When you feel weighed down with problems, however, it is easy to become anxious and nervous about what comes next.

Still, never allow the default setting in your mind make you focus more on problem-solving than depending on GOD’s ability to solve problems.  Instead of allowing your thoughts to flow towards what’s wrong and how to fix it, pray and allow GOD to determine what the next step is, to help correct what is wrong.

7 Important Things I’ve Learned About Life

Over the years, my definitions of happiness and success have certainly changed. Some things that used to be important… no longer hold the same relevance or significance to me as it once did. Certainly then, I’d like to think I’ve matured over the years. And now, I’m inspired more and more to be a giver… because, “GOD loves a cheerful giver.”

Throughout my life – especially over the past 10 years – I’ve tried to be as intentional as I possibly could to be better at being me, and also at helping other people to be better. Seriously! I’ve spent some of my most memorable moments in life, celebrating the successes of others. I helped in other people’s success without worrying about money and without thinking about “Me”… even while becoming exhausted in the process – and I found joy in doing so. I was able to do that because I understood, whatever gifts I have, if I use them to help other people… in turn, those same gifts will make room for me to accomplish my dreams.

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” ~ Luke 6:38 (KJV)

Here are 7 important things I’ve learned… that have changed my life. I’ve learned that:

GOD responds to FAITH.

Faith in GOD… is all about ACTION.

Life is a journey of great actions – for others first, then for self.

Life is made up of DOING, and not waiting on things to be done.

Life is about being in place, being available and being accountable.

Life is about loving… and being able to give… to others.

Giving is the key to happiness.

There is no happiness except in the realization that we have accomplished something. I’ve found that the most memorable events in my life happened because I decided to honor someone’s request for help to achieve something that was a big deal to them… at the same time while trying to find my way to achievement of my own dreams.

What about you? There’s a reason you’re here… right now… right where you are, in this moment in time. You may not be able to see it now… but you have a PURPOSE. And, it’s up to you, not to spend your most valuable time worrying about all that has happened to you… but to spend time rejoicing over what can happen for you and inside you… when you use the gifts GOD has placed in your possession… to directly help others without the thought of money, until the time that those gifts of giving begin to be returned to you in other ways.

Enjoy the Christmas Season. Give… Love… Share.

Christmas is about JESUS. Christmas is about love. Christmas is about giving… not so much things, as it is giving of ourselves. Christmas is a time of sharing.

GOD Can Turn Bad Situations into Something Good…

Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles, and less than perfect conditions. So what? Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident, and more and more successful.” ~ Mark Victor Hansen

When I was a kid, boys my age loved to brag on their dads. It was a daily thing on the playground. In those competitive conversations, every boy claimed his dad’s rightful place on the throne as “The World’s Toughest Dad.” I can still hear them saying, “My dad is bigger than your dad!” or “My dad is smarter than your dad!” But the best one of all was, “My dad is stronger than your dad!” But the last one I mentioned, was only used in threatening situations… when a fight was about to break out. It was a clear scare tactic. And, it was a fair warning that, “If you mess with me… you’d better beware, because my dad will come and deal with everybody out here… and handle everyone’s dad, later.” Of course it never happened! But, all the little fellas had confidence in what they were saying. Continue reading GOD Can Turn Bad Situations into Something Good…

FAITH… Can Help You Through Any Situation

Do you sometimes find it difficult to trust GOD? Does your faith sometimes fail you? If so, just remember… no matter what you cope with, it’s how you handle stress that’s important. And what you turn to in times of trouble is even more relevant.

Some people thrive under pressure… while others cannot handle the heat. Also, many people turn to methods of coping… like smoking or drinking. Others seem to thrive in the midst of trouble. But, regardless of how you cope, your faith can help you through any situation. It can allow you to see a different perspective and while you continue to have faith in GOD. Life Is Not Always Perfect. Still, Enjoy The Journey.

“We are all individuals taking different journeys and along our journey, we sometimes bump into each other, we cross paths, we become altered… we take different physical forms. But at all times we too are 100% perfectly imperfect.” ― Steve Maraboli

It’s sometimes hard for us to admit we’re just human… and not in charge of everything. It’s even harder for us not to know everything. Yet, we must somehow learn to become comfortable with our reality… learn to live with our limitations, and find happiness in striving to be better. Continue reading Life Is Not Always Perfect. How To Transform Your Life Through Prayer… and Faith

When you pray… and pray… and pray, and it seems like nothing is happening, you have to know GOD is still with you. That’s faith! But, it helps more when you understand… GOD does not operate on a time-table – but on faith.

The problem is never GOD. In many cases, then, it comes down to your personal faith… and patience. Saying, “I have faith,” and actually having faith, are two opposite things. Therefore, you should never allow true faith to be overshadowed by a confession of faith that’s filled with an arsenal of charismatic clichés.

Faith is more than positive thinking. Faith is a mindset… and a way of life. So, faith cannot be tricked into being. It has to be lived – daily. Confession of faith must be the Word of GOD spoken from your heart. When you believe, speak, and act on the Word, that’s faith. And that’s what GOD responds to, and nothing else.

What do you know about faith? Sure, I know you constantly hear the clichés people use… such as:

“Faith is the key.”

“You just have to believe.”

“Wait on GOD.”

“GOD responds to faith.”

“Without faith, it’s impossible to please GOD.”

“You just need to take it to the Lord.”

Those are all true. Still, how do you see faith? Daily, do you “Walk by Faith?” If so, surely you understand how faith pleases GOD. Your mindset is a powerful thing, and it has a big effect on your life. It has the ability to control you, persuade you and even hold you back from doing or achieving great things. It can be the difference between personal happiness and unhappiness.

The only way to develop a mind-set of faith is to: 1. Make good choices… 2. Learn to combat fear, and take action… and 3. Take GOD at His Word. Because no matter how positive your mindset is on any given day, you have to commit to a cause that’s much greater than who you are. Faith can’t be in your mind alone, you have to commit to faith with action and an ultimate goal in mind… to please GOD.
