Do you sometimes find it difficult to trust GOD? Does your faith sometimes fail you? If so, just remember… no matter what you cope with, it’s how you handle stress that’s important. And what you turn to in times of trouble is even more relevant.
Some people thrive under pressure… while others cannot handle the heat. Also, many people turn to methods of coping… like smoking or drinking. Others seem to thrive in the midst of trouble. But, regardless of how you cope, your faith can help you through any situation. It can allow you to see a different perspective and while you continue to have faith in GOD.
Everyone will experience difficulties of one type or another. Some people have financial burdens and others deal with family problems. In fact, there are three main things that cause people to stress. They are: life events, chronic strains, and daily hassles.
Life events might include the birth of a child, divorce, and death; anything requiring adjustment for a short period of time.
Chronic strains, such as illness and injury, occur over a long period of time.
Daily hassles are the common everyday stressors of life, including studying and family. No matter what gender, racial, or economic background a person is born into, this type of stress will always be there.
- When you have faith, you learn to worry less… and believe GOD more.
- Ways to build FAITH:
- Believe GOD… no matter what your situation is.
- Be determined to succeed at all cost.
- Daily Prayer.
- Read the Bible daily.
- Fellowship with people who are already going in the direction you want to go.
Faith provides a sense of hope despite the circumstances. It “believes that setbacks are temporary and usually caused by circumstances. Mature people of faith are always convinced that there is always some solution… and that they will be able to work things out. When confronted by defeat, they see it as a challenge and try harder to work things out.”
It’s the only thing which can conquer fear…
It’s powerful enough to move GOD…
It’s the BIG brother of Prayer…
Without works, it’s dead!
