All of us go through storms at some point in life. And in no way, can we control when the storms will come. However, it’s good to be prepared for when they do come… and patient during the storm. A spiritual storm, just like natural storms, allows GOD to do His work in us. It’s His way of building our:

Patience Faith Character Endurance Strength

You should never get grumpy and irritated with GOD when you’re going through storms. Although GOD doesn’t need your permission to take you through storms, trials and tribulations… it’s still good to give GOD your full cooperation. Because GOD will not build your character without your cooperation, and He will not work within you without your permission. So you must surrender – both hands up, white flag and all… and invite GOD in – and allow Him to work. Then, by faith, patiently embrace that work.

Someone once said, “When GOD permits His children to go through the furnace, He keeps His eye on the clock and His hand on the thermostat.” I guess they were trying to say… GOD knows the pulse of every person He created. He knows what each of us can take… even when we think we can’t take it. GOD never puts more on us than we can bear to carry within us.

When you’re going through trials, here are 7 things you can do that will help you weather the storm… and come through as vibrant as a rainbow.

1) Ask GOD to direct your footsteps. 2) Read the Bible for encouragement… and to draw closer to GOD. 3) PRAY… morning, noon and night. 4) Accept what you’re going through… and allow yourself to grow.  5) Surround yourself with godly people (friends, relatives, etc.) you can trust. 6) Stay focused. 7) Be encouraged.

Trials come to make you a stronger person… not to kill you. So you have to see it as an opportunity to fellowship with God… and learn more about the beauty that life has to offer – through Him.
