Life has not been an easy one. Struggles, disappointments, pain, anxiety, heartache… I have seen it all, and I have experienced it all. Yes, really. Me! A person who thinks about and writes about positivity on a daily basis – having a positive attitude didn’t always come easy for me.
At times, I’ve seen the world through a negative perspective, simply because I focused on the bad and ignored the good — especially when things weren’t going so well, namely… the way I had hoped.
After several years of working on my mental mindset and thought process, I learned to remind myself that life for me would only change, when I learned the habit of changing my own points of view. Needless to say, I chose to stop trying to control the outcome of everyday living, and learned how to accept the good and the bad. If I hadn’t, the negativity would have ended up ruining my life.
- Life will scare you if you allow it to.
- Life can be intimidating, if you allow it to.
- Life can cause you great fear, if you allow it to.
- Life can stress you out, if you allow it to.
The choice is always your own. You can decide to be proactive, or you can be reactive. But, it’s best of you lead life… because if you don’t, life will lead you to where it wants you to go – whether you like it or not.
Do you spend your nights worrying about the next day? Why? Do you fear something will go wrong? Even if things are already pointing in the direction of a breakthrough… do you fear somehow, that the next day will bring rejection? Do you fear you’ll be overlooked? Do you fear some other disaster…that will affect your life? If you do… you shouldn’t.
As you struggle to be positive about certain challenging situations in your life, give some serious thought to how you want to transform your outlook from being negative-focused to a more positive-focused one.
Note: You won’t always see the good. Like everyone, you will have good days and bad days, but, for the most part, you have to find a way to make a BIG shift in you your attitude… to change the climate of your life.
Create positive thinking patterns, by working with positive thinking exercises… so that you attract more of what you want, and so that your subconscious mind brings you the people, situations and circumstances to help you succeed.
