Quit Beating Yourself Up For Making Mistakes

Many people today think GOD is mad at them. For that reason, they feel it’s useless to reach out to Him or to turn their lives around and live for Him, because they think GOD would never accept them as a Christian. However, that is so far from the truth. GOD forgives. So, instead of turning away… turn to GOD.

Quit beating yourself up for making mistakes. Mistakes are a part of life. GOD loves you in spite of your past mistakes. Now, HE only wants you to trust Him, and stop trying to figure everything out about life, on your own.

  • Maybe you carry the burden of a secret
  • Maybe you feel guilty because you made a bad decision
  • Maybe you mad a wrong turn at a critical point in life
  • Maybe you made a life choice that hurt someone else

No matter what it is…. there’s good news. You have the opportunity to clear your conscience, make things right with GOD and the other person, and get to a place of grace and new beginnings. And really, there’s nothing like a new beginning… or a fresh start, to be able to do things right next time.

Daily, you have to allow your inner sense of conviction of GOD’s Word to serve as a “red flag,” without allowing yourself to fall into the “paralysis of analysis” when it comes to determining your next move.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” ~ Proverbs 3:5-6

You can make the best of a bad choice by learning from it and you can do something to improve your situation. It doesn’t matter where you’ve gone wrong in your decision-making… GOD can use your past mistakes to turn your life around and get glory out of it.

Affirmation: “Today, I am committed to make better choices and decisions, and allow happiness to manifest in my life.”
