Happiness: Why It Is Important To Choose Your Response To Life

Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – life itself.” ― Walter Anderson

GOD made all things good. That’s the attitude you have to wake up with each morning. When things in your life are not going so well, the way you approach each situation is important. Bad days can be turned into good ones if you have the right outlook, and if you are willing to take action to make the day better.

Life is good! However, your life will only improve with your positive input. Positive input requires that you take chances to make good things happen for you. First, though, you have to realize, you can do anything you want, if you put your mind to it, and if you know how to manage your time wisely. To be effective, ask yourself these questions:

  • What do I expect of me.
  • What can I do differently…to make me better.
  • What’s the most valuable use of my time – right now.
  • What can I do more of… to be happy.
  • What can I do now, in order to have a better future to look forward to.

Respond to Life! Spend some time answering these questions everyday… and do what’s necessary to find the answers to happiness. It will make you better. And you will find, that behind your smile… there will be a real joy and zeal for life.

People say, “Life is 10% what happens to you… and 90% how you respond to it.” But actually, life is 100% faith… and how much of it you are willing to put in GOD as you live life each day. That is what will determine how good your day turns out to be. Therefore, be determined that no matter what… nothing is going to stop you or block you from being happy. Trust GOD, by faith.

To be happy, you don’t have to be where the crowd is… you just have to follow your faith… to where GOD is.
