Don’t wait for other people to be loving, giving, compassionate, grateful, forgiving, generous, or friendly… lead the way!” ― Steve Maraboli

YOU CAN’T BEAT GOD GIVING! Nevertheless, GOD Loves a cheerful giver! That is why, life is not so much about what you can get out of it, but it is more about what you are capable of putting into it.

Life is all about sharing with others. “It’s more blessed to give than receive.” Are you a giver? I hope that you are. Someone needs what you have to offer. What comes easy for you… others may find difficult. Therefore, your giving makes the difference; especially when it is done from the heart… and with the right attitude.

[“You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the LORD your GOD will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.” ~ Deuteronomy 15:10].

Many people are more concerned about being a, “Go-getter” far more than they are concerned with being a, “Go-giver”. However, it is much better to give, because giving from the heart is the foundation of love…, and in the end, you will be blessed for it.

If you want to be happy, do what it takes to be happy. Learn to give. Take time to:

  • Stop what you’re doing to help someone.
  • Share with others.
  • Encourage someone.
  • Say something nice to someone.
  • Lend an ear; take time to listen.
  • Make someone smile.
  • Give someone you love a hug.

Today, practice, practice, practice. Be a giver. Giving pleases GOD. Give to others… not just things you don’t care about, but things you like too. Keep in mind that it is not the size of the gift, it is about the quality… and it is about the sincerity in which you give it.

Give thought to giving. Love and kindness always make a difference. “They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.”
