“I have not failed; I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” ~ Thomas Edison
When you learn the hard lesson, that mistakes or failures are only temporary, you’ve learned a great lesson in wisdom. Then, you will be ready to go forward and do great things.
Mistakes teach you important lessons. Every time you make one, you actually put yourself in position to draw one step closer to achieving your goals. The catch is, you have to put your mistakes behind you and keep trying… and keep going. The only mistake that can truly hurt you… is choosing to do nothing, simply because you’re too afraid to make a mistake.
Anyone who has ever achieved anything of significance, no doubt made countless mistakes along the way. Indeed, the greatest failures… are the greatest achievers. Those people who can openly show they risked, failed and then started over from nothing… are examples to us all.
“You’ll never be brave if you don’t get hurt. You’ll never learn if you don’t make mistakes. You’ll never be successful if you don’t encounter failure.”
Everyone has natural skills, natural talents, and things that we naturally enjoy doing and naturally do well. There must be a reason for this, and the reason is that these natural abilities are all part of who we are… and each is given to us to also help us become what we will be.
Pay attention to what you are good at… and what you enjoy naturally. It is, most likely, a clear path towards your destiny to happiness and achieved dreams. When you strive to become better than you are, everything around you becomes better, too. Therefore…
- As you learn, teach others.
- As you experience life, share what you’ve learned with others.
- As you set out to make the world a better place for yourself, remember to help improve the world for others, too.
With every difficult circumstance, comes invaluable experience. Whenever you are truly searching for life’s treasure as you pursue your dreams, you will discover things along the way that you never would have seen… had you not had the courage to try things that seemed impossible.
A valuable lesson you will learn along the journey of life is this: It is not your final goal that defines you. It is the mistakes you made and the lessons you learned along the way, which make you who you are.
