How To Take Back Your Life From Fear

Everything changes! Change happens every single day… even when you’re not aware of it. Yet in many ways, trying to change your life for the better can seem like the hardest thing in the world to do – especially if you’ve repeatedly failed in the past. Because of that, fear can hold you in shackles… and keep you from doing the things you enjoy most in life.

But, there’s beauty in change, and somehow, you have to find that beauty. To do that, though, you have to be willing to fight against fear… and the fear of change, in order to have the happy life you want.

When fear controls your life, it will continue to add other small fears for you to fight against… which will work against your happiness more and more by the day. That’s not good! Why? Because internal thoughts of failure and fear that occur in your mind when you are embarking on a new goal, experience, or venture… can be debilitating and even manage to stop you before you ever reach the goal of what you’re trying to pursue.

So what can you do? THE ANSWER:

  • Step back.
  • Pray.
  • Ask God for strength, vision and perspective.
  • Consider His Word.
  • Remember His power, provision and plan.
  • Move beyond self-doubt and…
  • Move toward Spirit-led responses, according to what GOD’s Word says.

Sometimes when we get overwhelmed by life, we forget just how “BIG” GOD is. However, our perspectives change in GOD’s presence. In His presence, we can gain clarity and peace, especially when we adapt God’s perspective – instead of our own. His sight is pure, full of grace and eternal – while our sight is often imperfect, narrow and worried about the now.

But it’s time for a change… and if you’re ready to take back your life from fear, here’s what you can do to start:

1.Pray to GOD for Faith.

2.Create realistic goals.

3.Do something positive everyday that will help you get to your end result.


5.Accept that sometimes you are going to fail. But that’s okay.

6.Develop and maintain a sense of humor about life.

7.Instead of saying “I can’t” start with “I can.”

8.Believe that what you are doing is important.

9.Help someone in need… in order to create positive energy.

PRAYER: LORD, I know I need to step away from my emotions, expectations and plans. Please Help Me to realize, You are my Shepherd, so I don’T need to fear. I want Your perspective, Your dreams and Your responses to be mine. Cover me with your precious grace, order my steps and equip me fresh with Your Spirit. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
